Emily Bronte’s 1846 novel of Heathcliffe and company continues to inspire new versions, the latest of which, “Wuthering High School” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) which is set in Malibu and stars Paloma Kwiatkowski as Cathy, drawn to a troubled boy named Heath played by Andrew Jacobs. James Caan plays her father, who takes in the lad after his mother is deported. Francesca Eastwood and Sean Flynn are also part of the TV movie that is meant to be what “Clueless” was to Jane Austen’s novel “Emma.”
In another new TV movie, Bree Williamson plays a photographer who runs into a guy who once broke her heart in “Portrait of Love” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.). I wonder what will happen next.
