It stars Kristin Chenoweth and Dove Cameron but features the teen kids of Disney characters, where the son of the Beauty and the Beast (Mitchell Hope) goes to a high school with the kids of Sleeping Beauty, the Fairy Godfather, Rapunzel and Mulan. They don’t always live happily ever after; they have to contend with the kids of Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, the Evil Queen and Jafar.

It comes alongside a “Jesse” spin-off called “Bunk’d” (Disney, 10 p.m.), which takes place in a Maine summer camp.

The strangely fascinating “Foxcatcher” (Starz, 9 p.m.) with Steve Carell and Channing Tatum, makes its premium cable debut.

The fourth and final season for “Strike Back” (Cinemax, 10 p.m.) begins with rescuing a kidnapped ambassador’s daughter in Bangkok.

The tension and music of the 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition are caught in “Virtuosity — The Cliburn” on “Great Performances” (PBS, 9 p.m. check local listings.

 “Cold Justice: Sex Crimes” (TNT, 9 p.m.) makes its premiere.
