A second season begins for one of the most underrated comedies on TV, “Playing House” (USA, 10 and 10:30 p.m.) starring Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham. Keegan-Michael Kay also pops up in the back-to-back episodes.
Three hours of country performers are planned on “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” (ABC, 8 p.m.) from the June festival that featured Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Maddie & Tae, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean. In addition, Keith Urban earns a new award.
Notions of restorative justice are introduced to kids in a new “Nick News with Linda Ellerbee” (Nickelodeon, 8 p.m.).
Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander of “Flavor of Love” and “I Love Money” is back with a new reality show about living in family of 14 on “It Takes a Sister” (Oxygen, 9 p.m.).
Another new show, “West Texas Investors Club” (CNBC, 10 p.m.) begins its run following a bunch of rich guys with accents.
Tom Arnold, Zachary Levi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Gina Rodriguez and Curtis Stone play on “Hollywood Game Night” (NBC, 10 p.m.).
Oh gosh, they’re only down to the Top 36 on “America’s Got Talent” (NBC, 8 p.m.).
The “Pretty Little Liars” (ABC Family, 8 p.m.) have been banned from prom, so they have their own.
Just realizing that George Wendt’s character name on “Clipped” (TBS, 10 p.m.) is Buzzy.
