DebbieGibsonIn the new made-for-TV “Summer of Dreams” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.), Debbie Gibson plays a part that’s not too much of a stretch —  an 80s pop star whose career is in decline. While for the real Gibson, this may mean performing in a Hallmark movie, for the character, it means becoming a music sub at a school in Ohio. Because it’s Debbie Gibson, she sings “Only In My Dreams.” Because it’s Hallmark, romance is involved.

On the made for TV “Unwanted Guest” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), a college student invites a weird friend to stay with her family. Ted King, Kate Mansi and Beth Littleford star.

It’s the case of the killer cougars on “Deadly Women” (ID, 10 p.m.).

“The Mummy” (AMC, 7 p.m.) paired with “The Mummy Returns” (AMC, 10 p.m.) means: too much Brendan Fraser.
