Normal-People-2As coming-of-age romances proliferate on streaming services, things seem a little more brash and extreme than real life must be. That’s why the series “Normal People” (Hulu, streaming) succeeds so well — with a soft-spoken pair hooking up and navigating their bodies and hearts (as well as their social positions), first in private school and then in college.

Based on Sally Rooney’s book of the same name, and set in Ireland, the lovely and realistic 12-part series benefits from the unnuanced performances by Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal.

Teen dramas proliferate, though.

The eight-episode Italian drama “Summertime” (Netflix, streaming) about a motorcycle champ and an iconoclastic woman. Not to be confused with “Summer House” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).

In the imported Korean series “Extracurricular” (Netflix, streaming), Kim Dong-hee plays a high school student who turns to crime to pay tuition.

The documentary “A Secret Love” (Netflix, streaming) tracks the romance between women’s league  baseball player Terry Donahue and Pat Henschel that they had to keep a secret for 60 years.

The documentary “Murder to Mercy: The Cynthia Brown Story” (Netflix, streaming) covers the case of a 16 year old in Nashville accused of murdering a middle aged man who picked her up for sex.

“The Great British Baking Show” winner Nadia Hussain gets her own cooking show, “Nadiya’s Time to Eat” (Netflix, streaming).

On the new “The Big Fat Wedding Walk” (Lifetime, 11 p.m.) tries to tone down a bride and groom before the big day.

Candor is vexed by the computer on “What We Do in the Shadows” (FX, 10 p.m.).

The comedy “Dave” (FXX, 10 p.m.) has its first season finale.

The “Spy in the Wild” ploy on “Nature” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings) still seems like a violation of animal privacy, but maybe they’re doing contract tracing now that tigers are picking up the virus.

Tony continues tripping on “Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.).

“Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” (TBS, 10:30 p.m.) never has a shortage of material.

Gordon Ramsay is guest judge on “The Masked Singer” (Fox, 8 p.m.), where most recently, the banana was unmasked to be Poison singer Bret Michaels.

“H20: The Molecule That Made Us” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) examines how water may have driven evolution.

Since when has Jughead become a detective? He continues to do so on “Riverdale” (CW, 8 p.m.).

“Destination Fear” (Travel, 10 p.m.) returns for a new season.

Couples from all 10 seasons are invited for a reunion on “Married at First Sight” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.).

“SEAL Team” (CBS, 9 p.m.) gets ambushed.

There’s a season finale for “Black Ink Crew” (VH1, 8 p.m.).

On “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (Bravo, 8 p.m.), Kyle wraps shooting her film.

“Expedition Unknown” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) goes to Normandy about 75 years late.

Abigail forges a connection on “Motherland: Fort Salem” (Freeform, 9 p.m.).
