The majestic tigers who escaped the random gunfire of the psychotic at the head of the year’s biggest streaming hit “Tiger King” get their own animal-centric special with “Surviving Joe Exotic” (Animal Planet, 10 p.m.).
The NBA season won’t resume until Thursday but they try to get you pumped for it with a two hour, primetime “NBA Countdown” (ABC, 8 p.m.).
The WNBA season does begin today, however, with Seattle vs. New York (ESPN, noon), Los Angeles vs. Phoenix (ABC, 3 p.m.) and Washington vs. Indiana (CBS Sports, 5 p.m.).
The first Saturday night baseball game of the season, Yankees at Washington (Fox, 7 p.m.), with be full of fake fans fabricated for the empty stands by special effects. It also happens in games with Milwaukee at Cubs (Fox, 1 p.m.) and San Francisco at Dodgers (Fox, 4:10 p.m.). Other baseball today includes Pittsburgh at St. Louis (MLB, 2:15 p.m.) and Arizona at San Diego (Fox Sports 1, 9 p.m.).
CBS announced this week that a new “Big Brother: All-Stars” is coming as soon as Aug. 5 and one of its currently quarantining contestants, .Bayleigh Dayton, will be on n tonight’s “Say Yes to the Dress” (TLC, 8 p.m.), choosing a gown with the guy she met on “Big Brother” season 20, Chris “Swaggy C” Williams.
