They only parse it out a couple of times a season now, but here it is time for “It’s a Wonderful Life” (NBC, 8 p.m.) and Jimmy Stewart’s George Bailey cavorting all over Bedford Falls, and realizing what life would be if he weren’t around. 

Two of the actors from “Outlander,” Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish decide to spend their off time taking a trip across Scotland in the new travel series “Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham” (Starz, 9:15 p.m.). They’ll ride around in motorbikes and only occasionally wear kilts.

In the Indian import “AK vs. AK” (Netflix, streaming) the film directory Anurag Kashyap (playing himself) kidnaps the daughter of a movie star (Anil Kapoor, playing himself) so he can shoot the basis of his new film. 

The new spy series “Shadow Lines” (Sundance Now, streaming) is set in 1950s Helsinki where the CIA battles the KGB. Emma Parviainen stars. 

Wondering how they’re going to stage the annual “Carols from King’s 2020” (BritBox, streaming) from King’s College Chapel Choir in Covid-ravaged England. 

Also singing tonight: a replay of “Christmas with the Tabernacle Choir: Christmas Day in the Morning” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings), with Kelli O’Hara and Richard Thomas.
