A finale comes for first season of “Star Trek: Discovery” (CBS, 10 p.m.) that they borrowed from the streaming CBS All Access. 

“Desus & Mero” (Showtime, 11 p.m.) returns for its Thursday night installments. 

“Mr. Mayor” (NBC, 8 p.m.) orders a mandatory staff meeting.

Each team has to elevate Mexican dishes from food trucks on a new “Hell’s Kitchen” (Fox, 9 p.m.).
