It’s precisely the kind of music you won’t hear at the Grammys tomorrow. Highlights from the 20th Americana Music Awards in Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium will be featured by “Austin City Limits” tonight. “ACL Presents: Americana 20th Annual Honors” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings) with performances from Jason Isbell, The Mavericks, Allison Russell, Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, Charlie Crockett and Steve Earle. Brandi Carlile will perform solo and as a member of The Highwomen, with Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, Amanda Shires and Yola. Plus there will be a tribute to Nanci Griffith from Joe Henry and Aoife O’Donovan.
The Final Four comes today in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament with Villanova vs. Kansas (TBS, TNT, truTV, 5 p.m.) and North Carolina vs. Duke (TBS, TNT, truTV, 8:30 p.m.).
Kenneth Branagh’s “Death on the Nile” (HBO, 8 p.m.), in which he plays Hercule Poirot, makes its premium cable debut, after opening in theaters only seven weeks ago. The cast also includes Armie Hammer, Gal Gadot, Annette Bening and Russell Brand
Entertainment Tonight collects its Whitney Houston clips to create the hour-special “Whitney, A Look Back” (CBS, 8 p.m.).
“World’s Funniest Animals” (CW, 9 p.m.) has cats, bears and deer.
The made-for-TV crime drama “Fallen Angels Murder Club: Friends to Die For” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) concerns a book club whose members must all have criminal records.
