The esteemed cop series “Dark Winds” (AMC, 9 p.m.), set in the Southwest’s Navajo Country with Zahn McClarnon, Kiowa Gordon, returns for a second season. It also shows on sister networks BBC America, IFC and Sundance.
The new spinoff series “Naked and Afraid Castaways” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) takes nine survivalists to a remote Pacific island and has them travel to the same rescue point 21 days later.
“Ridley” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings) investigates the death of a man who fell from a balcony.
Building an offshore electrical plant is a challenge on “How Did They Fix That?” (Smithsonian, 9 p.m.).
