The 135th Tournament of Roses Parade (NBC, ABC, Univision, 11 a.m.) emanates from Pasadena. Among those performing at the music-themed event are Jordin Sparks, Michelle Williams and Straight No Chaser. Hosts are Jericka Duncan, Gabrielle Elyse and Presley Hosbach.
Another staple of the holiday: “From Vienna: The New Year’s Celebration 2024” is featured on “Great Performances” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings). Hugh Bonneville hosts the event from Vienna.
A three-hour edit of the 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (ABC, 8 p.m.), recorded in November in Brooklyn, installs Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Willie Nelson, George Michael, Rage Against the Machine, the Spinners, Bernie Taupin, Don Cornelius, Al Kooper, Link Wray, Chaka Khan and DJ Kool Herc.
