The only raw and uncut presentation of The 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Disney+, 7 p.m.) comes just once, when it is presented live on tonight Disney+. Subsequent viewings Sunday on Hulu will be edited; it won’t be on ABC until the holidays. And there might be some choice things they may want to trim, such as an unexpurgated Cher demanding to now why it’s taken so long for her to get in.
This year’s crop of inductees also includes Ozzy Osbourne, Kool & the Gang, Peter Frampton, A Tribe Called Quest, Dave Matthews Band, Mary J. Blige and Foreigner.
Also getting in (in other categories not voted by the public) include Jimmy Buffett, Alexis Korner, John Mayall, MC5, Big Mama Thornton, Dionne Warwick, producer Norman Whitfield and Motown exec Suzanne de Passe.
Of the inductees, Cher, Blige, Matthews, Foreigner, Frampton, Kool & the Gang and Warwick are all supposed to perform. And Ozzy says he’ll do so if his health permits.

The made-for-TV thriller “Husband, Father, Killer: The Alyssa Pladi Story” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) concerns a young father who abused his infant and 18 years later starts dating her. Matthew MacCaull and Jackie Cruz star.
