The country singer Sturgill Simpson performs his latest album, “Passage du Desir,” which he released under the name Johnny Blue Skies, on a new “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings). For his first performance on the show since his debut there in 2015, Simpson will list Blue Skies as “special guest” on the long-running show’s penultimate episode of its landmark 50th season. 

It’s one of several musical highlights on tonight, starting with the 26th annual “Super Bowl Soulful Celebration” (Fox, 8 p.m.), from New Orleans, featuring performers that include Master P, the Isley Brothers, Yolanda Adams, Trombone Shorty, Big Freedia and the NFL Players Choir. Rocsi Diaz and Bill Bellamy host.  

There is also the bio pic “Robin Roberts presents I Will Survive: The Gloria Gaynor Story” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) in which Joaquina Kalukango plays the disco singer, who co-produced along with the ABC anchor (who is the other name in the title). Gaynor also recorded a new song to add to the anthem (also in the title) that everybody knows. Oddly, it’s followed by a 2023 documentary with almost the exact title, “Gloria Gaynor: I Will Survive” (Lifetime, 10 p.m.) 

Elsewhere, a documentary looks at “The ‘90s Boy Band Boom” (CW, 8 p.m.). 

And “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) is a rerun of the November show hosted by Charli XCX on which she was also the musical guest. Its rerun at 10 is from 2022, with Zoe Kravitz and Rosalia.

The sports documentary series “Kobe: The Making of a Legend” (CNN, 9 p.m.) shows its third and final episode. 

“The Wish Swap” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) is a new made-for-TV romance about two strangers both celebrating their birthdays at the same restaurant,  but get their wishes switched up. Emily Tennant and Jake Foy star. 

The northern and Arctic regions are the focus on tonight’s “Planet Earth: Asia” (BBC America, 8 p.m.). 

“Family or Fiancé” (OWN, 9 p.m.) begins its fourth season concentrating on a pair of cousins who met at a family funeral. 

“Svengoolie” presents the 1961 British film “Curse of the Werewolf” (MeTV, 8 p.m.). 

“We Live in Time” (HBO, 8 p.m.), the 2024 rom-com with Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, makes its premium cable debut. 

The cast re-litigates the season’s arguments on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” (OWN, 8 p.m.). 

Oscar-worthy moms are on Turner Classic Movies’ 31 Days of Oscar tonight with “Places in the Heart” (8 p.m.), “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” (10 p.m.), “Imitation of Life” (12:15 a.m.), “Mildred Pierce” (2:30 a.m.) and “Mrs. Miniver” (4:30 a.m.).

During the day TCM has best picture winners and nominees with “Flirtation Walk” (6:15 a.m.), “Here Comes the Navy” (8:15 a.m.), “Captain Blood” (10 a.m.), “Cimarron” (12:15 p.m.), “How the West Was Won” (2:30 p.m.) and “All Quiet on the Western Front” (5:30 p.m.). 

NBA action includes Indiana at Lakers (ESPN, 4 p.m.) and Boston at New York (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).

Hockey has Tampa Bay at Detroit (ABC, 1 p.m.) and Vegas at Boston (ABC, 3:30 p.m.).
