“The Last of Us” (HBO, 9 p.m.) is guaranteed to have one standout episode a season. And this time around, it was last week’s about the anatomy of Joel and Ellie’s point of conflict. It’s repeated at 7:52 p.m. today. This week’s season two finale is likely to be all about revenge on Seattle and the return of the characters played by Kaitlyn Dever and Jeffrey Wright.
It’s also the season finale for the ever-weird “The Rehearsal” (HBO, 10:30 p.m). Will Nathan Fielder’s efforts to stem plane crashes by encouraging more pilot interaction prove effective? Last week’s episode repeats at 9:55 p.m.
Esai Morales and Gary Sinise host this year’s National Memorial Day Concert (PBS, 8 p.m.) which features Yolanda Adams, Loren Allred, Scotty Hasting and Angel Blue with the National Symphony Orchestra and various military musical groups. There will also be appearances by actors Blair Underwood, Robert Patrick, Gretchen Mol and Mary McCormack.
“The Librarians: The Next Chapter” (TNT, about 10 p.m.) is a spinoff of the original series, with a wholly new cast, focusing on a time traveler from 1847 stuck in the present. It stars Callum McGowan, Jessica Green, Olivia Morris, Bluey Robinson and Caroline Lance. It was to have aired last October on CW, but was pulled from its schedule. Part two of the premiere comes Monday, the day the subsequent 10 episodes will run. Time is approximate tonight because it will follow the NBA Playoff East finals Game 3 of Knicks at Indiana (TNT, 8 p.m.)
An eighth season begins for the animated “Rick and Morty” (Cartoon Network, 11 p.m.).
“60 Minutes” (CBS, 8 p.m.) looks at the gardens of the Roman emperor Caligula.
