“Stranger Things” (Netflix, 3 p.m.) returns for its fifth and final season and what’s strange is how big all these kids have gotten. It’s been five years since season one, so it figures. Of more import is battling the monsters of the Upside Down looking to upend their Indiana city. Linda Hamilton joins the cast as a federal agent seeking Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven. Four episodes are available today; three more come on Christmas; the series finale is New Year’s Eve.
Disney+ is used to having something Beatle-related to share on Thanksgiving, especially after last year’s “Get Back” documentary series. Now they’ve resurrected the 1995 history “The Beatles Anthology” (Disney+, streaming) with some additional footage to stretch out its nine episodes with the help of Peter Jackson, concentrating on interviews made with the three remaining Beatles at the time, and their efforts to record a new song, “Real Love,” from an old John Lennon demo.

The biggest entertainment ratings each year come for the Thanksgiving parade, so here’s a pre-show to help cash in. “Countdown to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” (NBC, 8 p.m.) features backstories of the history, floats and balloons.
It’s followed by the two-hour clip anthology “A ’Saturday Night Live’ Thanksgiving Special” (NBC, 9 p.m.).
“The Rocky Mountain Mortician Murder” (Investigation Discovery, 8 p.m.) is a true crime documentary series about a killing in a small Colorado community in 2012.
The romantic drama “Sidelined: The QB and Me” (Fox, 8 p.m.) with Siena Agudong, Noah Beck and James Van Der Beek, migrates to broadcast TV from the streaming Tubi.
“The Louvre Heist: Minute by Minute” (Discovery, 10 p.m.) tracks the crime from October.
