The murders last weekend of the beloved director and his wife led to a pair of specials about life and legacy.

“Rob Reiner — Scenes from a Life” (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) that includes clips from his films and interviews with Albert Brooks, Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland, Mandy Patinkin, Kathy Bates, Annette Bening and others, as well as his last interview with Lesley Stahl on “60 Minutes.” 

Sara Sidner updates on the murder case and insiders the impact of Reiner on “The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper” (CNN, 8 p.m.), followed by a 1997 interview that is revived as “Rob Reiner: In His Own Words: A Larry King Exclusive” (CNN, 9 p.m.).

“I Love LA” (HBO, 10:30 p.m.) ends its season with Maia’s decision whether to move East (hint: the episode is called “I Love NY”). The entire season replays beginning at 7.

Dave Chappelle drops his new special like rappers used to drop new albums — without prior notice. He’s certainly big as any hip hop star — his new special was recorded in an arena. He’s got a lot to talk about the current “Dave Chappelle in Unstoppable” (Netflix, streaming) 

Sunday Night Football has New England at Baltimore (NBC, 8:20 p.m.). Earlier games include Chargers at Dallas (Fox, 1 p.m.), Buffalo at Cleveland (CBS, 1 p.m.) and Pittsburgh at Detroit (CBS, 4:25 p.m.).

A winner is named on the first season finale of “The Road” (CBS, 9:30 p.m.). 

“60 Minutes” (CBS, 7:30 p.m.) reports on brutal and torturous condition in the El Salvador prison Trump has been sending migrants to.

Seems more like an Easter tradition, but here’s “The Sound of Music” (ABC, 7 p.m.), stretching out a full four hours. 

“Universal Basic Guys” (Fox, 8 p.m.) get a jetpack. 

Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg hosts a look at upcoming series on “The 2025 Fox Winter Preview” (Fox, 8:30 p.m.). 

It’s close to last call for new Christmas movies. In “Christmas with the Knightlys” (UPtv, 7 p.m.), a teacher pretends to be the girlfriend of a billionaire’s heir.

A wish tree unites a morning show host and an artist in looking for the season’s hottest toy in “Chasing Christmas” (Great American Family, 8 p.m.) with Trevor Donovan and Jillian Murphy.

And on “The Christmas Baby” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.), a lesbian couple finds an infant left on their doorstep. Ali Liebert and Katherine Barrell star. 

On “Happiness” (PBS, 8 p.m.), Charlie is talked into becoming the director.

Dr. Simone is ready to give up on her marriage on “Married to Medicine” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) have a Potomac and Ponies family fun day. 

Deer antlers get locked in a fight on “Yellowstone Wardens” (Animal Planet, 8 p.m.). 

“Snakes in the City” (Nat Geo Wild, 9 p.m.) rescues a Russell’s viper from a motorbike. 

The Ben Stiller episode that was to have run last week is back on “All There is With Anderson Cooper” (CNN, 10 p.m.). 

“Sister Wives” (TLC, 8 p.m.) aren’t getting good apologies from Kody.

The Christmas marathon continues apace on Turner Classic Movies with “Hell’s Heroes” (6:30 a.m.), “A Christmas Carol” (8 a.m.), “Room for One More” (9:30 a.m.), “Susan Slept Here” (11:30 a.m.), “Desk Set” (1:30 p.m.), “Going My Way” (3:30 p.m.), “The Bells of St. Mary’s” (5:45 p.m.), “Gold Diggers of 1933” (8 p.m.), “Call Her Savage” (10 p.m.), “There Ain’t No Santa Claus” (midnight), “A Christmas Past” (12:30 a.m.), “Mon Oncle Antoine” (2:45 a.m.) and “Period of Adjustment” (4:30 a.m.). 

Hockey has Toronto at Dallas (NHL, 7 p.m.).

Men’s college basketball includes Vanderbilt at Wake Forest (CW, 1 p.m.), Southern at Baylor (TNT, 1 p.m.), Mississippi vs. North Carolina State (ESPN, 1 p.m.), Cincinnati vs. Clemson (ESPN, 3 p.m.), Oregon State at Arizona State (ESPN2, 3 p.m.) and Connecticut at DePaul (Fox Sports 1, 4:30 p.m.).

Women’s games include North Carolina State at Davidson (CBS Sports, noon), Kansas at Iowa State (ESPN2, 1 p.m.), Texas at South Dakota State (CBS Sports, 2 p.m.), Oregon vs. Stanford (ESPN, 6 p.m.) and USC vs. California (ESPN, 8:30 p.m.). 

Final rounds are played in the PNC Championship (Golf, 11:30 a.m.; NBC, 1:30 p.m.). 

It’s Kentucky vs. Texas A&M (ABC, 3:30 p.m.) in the women’s NCAA volleyball final.
