“Shrinking” (Apple TV, streaming), the disappointing comedy about sad sack therapists with a big name cast, returns for a third season. Besides Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams and Michael Lurie, Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox join the cast. 

Also back for its third season is the series about ghosts in high school, “School Spirits” (Paramount+, streaming). 

“Dirty Talk: When Daytime Talk Shows Ruled TV” (ABC, 9 p.m.) ends its  three-episode run by talking about the excesses of the Jerry Springer Show. 

Game shows tonight include “Hollywood Squares” (CBS, 8 p.m.) and “The Price is Right at Night” (CBS, 9 p.m.). 

“Chicago Med” (NBC, 8 p.m.) gets a visit from old med school pals; “Chicago Fire” (NBC, 9 p.m.) gets mixed up with a personal injury attorney; and “Chicago P.D.” (NBC, 10 p.m.) goes after carjackers. 

It’s picture day at “Abbott Elementary” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.). 

“Nova” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) examines how an ancient jungle city in Cambodia disappeared. 

Whether there were emale gladiators in Ancient Rome is the concern of “Secrets of the Dead” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings). 

“The Masked Singer” (Fox, 8 p.m.) has Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night. Because they were such great singers. 

A boa constrictor is an element on “Fear Factor: House of Fear” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

“Shark Tank” (ABC, 10 p.m.) is pitched a dorm bed extender. 

Amy’s singing is not greeted by everyone on “Shifting Gears” (ABC, 8 p.m.). 

“Tyler Perry’s Sistas” (BET, 9 p.m.) react to an act of violence. 

Nadia lands on “Love & Hip Hop Miami” (BET, 8 p.m.).

Turns out that Ryan Murphy’s “Beauty” (FX, 10 p.m.) is pretty terrible after all. 

“Alaska State Troopers” (A&E, 8 p.m.) bust a suspected narcotics dealer. 

The Fourth of July brings the usual problems on both “Ozark Law” (A&E, 9 p.m.) and “Desert Law” (A&E, 10 p.m.).

“Southern Charm” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) has a first date and a bad birthday party.

An endangered penguin gets help on “Work on the Wild Side” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.). 

“Expedition X” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) looks for ghosts on an aircraft carrier.

A Las Vegas museum is visited on “Ghost Adventures” (Discovery, 10 p.m.).

“My Strange Addiction” (TLC, 9 p.m.) has someone with a glue stick appetite. 

A Medicaid fraud scheme is described on “American gangster: Trap Queens” (BET, 10 p.m.). 

“Swamp People” (History, 8 p.m.) are under a 17-gator quota. 

Turner Classic Movies has its tribute to director Rob Reiner, who was murdered with his wife last month. And It includes some of the most popular films of the last half century: “The Princess Bride” (8 p.m.), “When Harry Met Sally” (10 p.m.), “Stand By Me” (midnight) and “This is Spinal Tap” (1:45 a.m.), pairing it with a documentary about a real rock band, “The Song Remains the Same” (3:15 a.m.).
