After 34 seasons “Dancing With the Stars” has a spin-off, in which they survey those who would be the professionals who’d dance with the stars this fall. “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” (ABC, 8 p.m.) is hosted by last year’s winner of the mother show, Robert Irwin. Judges include another champ, Mark Ballas and his mother, who is a judge on “Strictly Come Dancing” in the U.K. 

A highlight of baseball’s All Star festivities is the Home Run Derby (Netflix, 8 p.m.) which this year occurs in Philadelphia and can be watched only on a streaming service only for the first time. 

Filmmaker Katy Scoggin reconnects with her estranged father and tries to reconcile his religious beliefs in the film “Flood,” making its debut on “Independent Lens” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings). 

“All American” (CW, 8 p.m.) returns for the eighth and final season, picking up six months after events that ended season seven. The first two of its 13-episode season play tonight. 

“Legend of Troy: The Epic Rise and Fall” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) begins with the story of a German millionaire who began excavating in 1870 searching for the ancient city of Troy. 

The latest BBQ competition “Pitmasters” (Food, 9 p.m.) is set in the wilderness, where I suppose they will have to watch out for wildfires. 

“World War II with Tom Hanks” (History, 8 p.m.) moves into the summer of 1944.

The story of the online astrologer and influencer Mystic Lipstick concludes on “Deadly Influence: The Social Media Murders” (Investigation Discovery, 9 p.m.). 

“American Ninja Warrior” (NBC, 9 p.m.) has its Eastern regional finals. 

Cooper learns a secret that rocks “Below Deck Mediterranean” (Bravo, 8 p.m.). 

“The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) gets into the beef business. 

Exteriors are the final battle of the season on “Battle on the Beach” (HGTV, 9 p.m.).

“120 Hours Behind Bars” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) returns for a second season, in the Clay County Detention Center in Mississippi.

Cockfighting blades are discovered on “Contraband: Seized at the Border” (Discovery, 8 p.m.). 

“History’s Greatest Machines with Dolph Lundgren” (History, 10 p.m.) looks at rockets. 

There’s a Greek-themed party on “Little Singles” (TLC, 9 p.m.).

“On Purpose with Jay Shetty” (Netflix, streaming), is a new series made based on the popular podcast by the author and former monk.

Turner Classic Movies’ Monday night series of singers in movies continues with Art Garfunkel in “Carnal Knowledge” (8 p.m.), Barbra Streisand in “A Star is Born” (9:45 p.m.), Willie Nelson in “Honeysuckle Rose” (12:15 a.m.), Roger Daltrey in “Lisztomania” (2:30 a.m.) and Mick Jagger in “Performance” (4:15 a.m.). 

During the day are screenplays by Betty Comden and Adolph Green with “Good News” (7 a.m.), “It’s Alwayss Fair Weather” (9 a.m.), “Singin’ in the Rain” (11 a.m.), “The band Wagon” (1 p.m.), “Bells Are Ringing” (3 p.m.) and “Auntie Mame” (5:15 p.m.). 

WNBA action has Los Angeles at Atlanta (USA, 7 p.m.) and Phoenix at Minnesota (Peacock, 9 p.m.).
