And “Genera+ion” (HBO Max, streaming), which she created with her other dad Daniel Barnz directing, is the most diverse, gender fluid high school series imaginable, with all manner of sexual orientation and sex in general. But the young cast is engaging and the dialog seems natural with angst that seems less weaponized than say, “Euphoria” (which is available on the same streaming service.
