The tragedy of the pandemic that reaches its one year mark in the U.S. this week, is that it has had its affect on everybody — including a handful of filmmakers age 17 to 21 who chronicle their own lives in a very different New York City, where they’re forced to stay in side with their parents, who are largely essential workers who worry every day about their fate. Outside, marches roil for racial equity in the wake of the death of George Floyd at the hands of the police. Though it seems there have been a lot of coverage, there’s something new being expressed in the well-done “COVID Diaries NYC” (HBO, 9 p.m.).

At first I thought the new series “Delilah” (OWN, 9 pm.) was about the radio romance adviser. Instead it’s about a tough Chicago lawyer who is also trying to raise her two kids. Maahra Hill stars in the title role, with a cast that includes Jill Marie Jones and Susan Heyward.

H.E.R. performs on a new “Soul of a Nation” (ABC, 10 p.m.).

Usually, podcasts are a companion to true crime series; but the two hour documentary “Unraveled: The Long Island Serial Killer” (Discovery+, streaming) is meant as a companion to the “Unraveled” podcast.

Also migrating to the streaming service is “Moonshiners: Smoke Ring” (Discovery+, streaming) and “Fright Club” (Discovery+, streaming) with Jack Osbourne.

On “Superman & Lois” (CW, 9 p.m.), Clark shares some of his history back on Krypton with his boys.
