As much political humor as there is on TV, the one involving puppets “Let’s Be Real” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.) stood out for its sharp lampoons when it first aired, exactly once, last October. That’s mostly because the man behind it is longtime comic and creator of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Robert Smigel. He returns with his rubbery puppets tonight as the series begins a regular run. 

Sixteen years after she first appeared on reality TV — as runner-up on Martha Stewart’s single season spinoff of “The Apprentice,” Bethenny Frankel throws her own “Apprentice”-like search for a top executive for her companies. The former “Real Housewife of New York City” and one-season talk show host has turned into some kind of monster at 50 and the hapless contestants who’d want to work for her are clueless or masochists. Watching her yell at people on her toxic new “The Big Shot with Bethenney” (HBO Max, streaming) is grim indeed. 

Amanda Seyfried, James Norton and F. Murray Abraham star in a new thriller, “Things Heard & Seen” (Netflix, streaming) about an artist who moves to the Hudson Valley to find terror in her marriage, is based on Elizabeth Brundage’s novel “All Things Cease to Appear.”

Is The NFL Draft (ABC, ESPN, NFL, 8 p.m.) a big enough deal that three networks including a broadcaster cover its first night live? Apparently so. 

The new documentary “Lucy and the Human Chimp” (HBO Max, streaming), documents the bond between a young caretaker and her primate charge. 

Marking their 10 years together is the special “William & Kate’s Royal Anniversary” (CW, 8 p.m.), followed by their previous special “Harry & Meghan’s American Dream” (CW, 9 p.m.).
