Started with another half dozen goodies from the Oxford American Southern Music sampler Vol. 12, played a big chunk of the new Bright Eyes, as well as new stuff from Twilight Singers, Iron & WIne, Delicate Steve, Destroyers and the Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Joy Formidable,Tennis and Wanda Jackson, old and new.

To herald shows this weekend, played a lot of Marshall Crenshaw, a bit of Rhett Miller (and his other band, Old 97’s), Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings and a lot of Elvis Presley’s 1970 Vegas show, in honor of the “Elvis Presley in Concert” stop at the casino.
