Against the written wishes of Dr. Albert Barnes, who created an amazing personal collection of modern art in his suburban Philadelphia home, the whole museum was moved downtown in a downtown booster and tourism scheme.

But it opened to some acclaim in May, as it tried to replicate the eccentric pairings of works by Picasso, Cezanne, Matisse and Renoir.

While the 2010 film “The Art of the Steal” expertly described the battle of trying to move the museum, the new “The Barnes Collection” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings), presented as part of the PBS Summer Arts Festival, concentrates more on how the collection was assembled and gives a glimpse at the new surroundings.

Of course some may be more interested in the art of the greens in “Golf’s Grand Design” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings).

The swimming events are nearly over at the 2012 London Olympics (NBC, 8 p.m.) with finals in the men’s 100 meter butterfly and 50 meter freestyle and women’s 200 meter backstroke and 800 meter freestyle.

But there’s also a men’s shot-put final, the men’s trampoline final, the women’s volleyball with U.S. vs. Serbia and women’s diving qualifiers.

When you’re talking Olympic swimmers, let us not forget Johnny Weissmuller, who won three gold medals in his day, breaking world records in each of them. And we kind of doubt Michael Phelps will go on to play Tarzan in several movies.

Today, you could watch “Tarzan and the Mermaids” (TCM, 6 a.m.), “Tarzan and the Huntress” (TCM, 7:30 a.m.), “Tarzan and the Leopard Woman” (TCM, 9 a.m.), “Tarzan and the Amazons” (TCM, 10:15 a.m.), “Tarzan’s Desert Mystery” (TCM, 11:45 a.m.), “Tarzan Triumphs” (TCM, 1 p.m.), “Tarzan’s New York Advanture” (TCM, 2:30 p.m.), “Tarzan’s Secret Treasure” (TCM, 3:45 p.m.), “Tarzan Finds a Son!” (TCM, 5:15 p.m.).

In prime time, after the 2004 documentary “Silver Screen King of the Jungle” (TCM, 6:45 p.m.), is the original 1932 “Tarzan the Ape Man” (TCM, 8 p.m.), followed by “Tarzan and his Mate” (TCM, 10 p.m.), “Tarzan Escapes” (midnight).

After his Tarzan career, Weissmuller went on to play “Jungle Jim” (TCM, 1:45 a.m.), also seen in “The Lost Tribe” (3 a.m.), and “Pygmy Island” (TCM, 4:30 a.m.).

An upscale comfort food restaurant in Harlem gets a lift from “3 Days to Open with Bobby Flay” (Food, 10 p.m.).

Even “20/20” (ABC, 9 p.m.) is a rerun tonight, with “Billionaire Secrets: What They Know That Can Change Your Life.” Hm, let me see: Not pay enough taxes?

Adam Scott of “Parks and Recreation” talks about his exercise regimen among other things on a new “Comedy Bang Bang” (IFC, 10 p.m.) that also includes appearances by Patton Oswalt and Andy Samberg give sage celebrity advice.

Later, Matt Oberg, Michael Che and Alison Rich join the panel on “Bunk” (IFC, 10:30 p.m.).

The fiancés of NFL stars try to “Say Yes to the Dress” (TLC, 9 p.m.) in the first of two episodes.
