do-no-harm-nbc“The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” has been adapted and ripped off so many times on TV, it’s hardly surprising that there’s yet another one posing as a new show.

In “Do No Harm” (NBC, 10 p.m.), Stephen Pasquale of “Rescue Me” stars as a brilliant neurosurgeon by day who turns dangerous party freak at night. It happens so regularly (8:25), he can set his watch by it. Why doesn’t he also take precautions like maybe chaining himself up at 8:20 each night?

He tries to control it by drugs but that isn’t working out (and if it did, they wouldn’t have much of a show). But you feel like you would have seen it so many times before.

Tomorrow’s 10th anniversary of the disaster of the Space Shuttle Columbia, which broke apart over Texas during reentry is recounted on both “Nova” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) and on a new special “Space Shuttle Columbia: Mission of Hope” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings). It’s a compelling story that has yet to be competely told, and this film starts to, as it interviews people who saw the debris fall that morning, but it’s mostly about the Israeli astronaut that was among the fated crew.

Auditions wind up on “American Idol” (Fox, 8 p.m.), which means it’s the last chance to catch the truly terrible and deluded.

A member of the camera crew who’s been filming “The Office” (NBC, 9 p.m.) these past seven seasons was finally seen last week for the first time. Will he be seen again? Meanwhile Dwight has to hire a replacement for Jim and thinks of Mose. It’s followed by a second new episode.

“Legit” (FX, 10:30 p.m.) is just getting weird.

It’s the kind of world where you can see new episodes of the sitcom Charlie Sheen used to be on, “Two and a Half Men” (CBS, 8:30 p.m.), and two of the one he’s on now, “Anger Management” (FX, 9 and 9:30 p.m.).

“Mary Mary” (WEtv, 9 p.m.) go to New Orleans.

Wendell Pierce guest stars on a new episode of “Suits” (USA, 10 p.m.).

Fans take over “Conan” for a night on a show they’re calling “Occupy Conan” (TBS, 11 p.m.).

Several aspects of the $17 billion-a-year funeral industry are covered in the documentary “Death: It’s a Living” (CNBC, 9 p.m.).

A documentary on real people like those in the book are featured on the special “The Real 50 Shades of Grey” (E!, 9 p.m.). Sounds like torture.

Jeremy Irons and Lisa Ling join “Kathy” (Bravo, 10 p.m.).

It’s Lee Marvin night on Turner Classic Movies with “Cat Ballou” (8 p.m.), “Monte Walsh” (10 p.m.), “The Dirty Dozen” (midnight), and “Point Blank” (2:45 a.m.).

NBA action includes Grizzlies at Thunder (TNT, 8 p.m.) and Mavericks at Warriors (TNT, 10:30 p.m.).

Hulk Hogan turns 60 this year, but he still gets back in the ring on a new “Impact Wrestling” (Spike TV, 8 p.m.).

A billionaire adventurer’s wife dies mysteriously on “Beauty and the Beast” (The CW, 9 p.m.).

With the title of tonight’s “Glee” (Fox, 9 p.m.) “Naked,” we can only assume the fundraising calendar they pose for is a spicy one.

Susan Sarandon is guest judge on “Project Runway” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.) where designers have to make uniforms for a ping pong social club.

Men’s college hoops includes Drexel at George Mason (NBC Sports, 7 p.m.), Illinois at Michigan State (ESPN, 7 p.m.), Connecticut at Providence (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), Arizona at Washington (ESPN, 9 p.m.), Arkansas at Alabama (ESPN2, 9 p.m.) and Gonzaga at Loyola Marymount (ESPN2, 11 p.m.).
