finalFourAre you still in it? The Final Four comes down to this, in prime time from Atlanta (but no longer in March): Wichita State vs. Louisville (CBS, 6 p.m.) and Syracuse vs. Michigan (CBS, 8:30 p.m.), with the winners going to a championship game set Monday.

Cable premieres tonight include Ridley Scott’s space movie “Prometheus” (HBO, 8 p.m.), Colin Farrell in last year’s “Total Recall” (Starz, 9 p.m.), “Man on a Ledge” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) with Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks, and Tim Burton’s remake of “Dark Shadows” (Cinemax, 10 p.m.) with Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer.

The misleadingly titled “Battledogs” (Syfy, 9 p.m.) concerns a werewolf virus in New York.

“Smash” (NBC 9 p.m.) moves permanently to Saturday, not a good sign for the series at all. But Liza Minnelli makes an appearance.

It is on a Saturday night when they choose to honor one of the warhorses of weekday daytime TV, as “20/20” (ABC, 9 p.m.) salutes “General Hospital” on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. Katie Couric interviews the cast and producers as well as some of the stars who began careers there, from Kristin Davis and Demi Moore to John Stamos.

“Doctor Who” (BBC America, 9 p.m.) takes Clara to the Festival of Offerings .

Sarah’s trying to adjust to being a new person on “Orphan Black” (BBC America, 9 p.m.).

Robert Kirkman, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan and Kyle Kinane are on a new episode of “The Nerdist” (BBC America, 10 p.m.).

The theme is dusty on Turner Classic Movies with the desert war movies “Lawrence of Arabia” (8 p.m.) and “Sahara” (midnight). Later comes the documentary “Spine Tingler! The William Castle Story” (TCM, 2 a.m.) and Castle’s first film, “Macabre” (3:30 a.m.).

Bon Jovi plays an old “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings).

Melissa McCarthy, who proved to be one of the best guest hosts of “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11;30 p.m.) last year, returns for a new show tonight with Phoenix as musical guest. Earlier, the one-hour two-thirds-of-a-rerun of “SNL” at 10 p.m. has Bruno Mars hosting.
