sharkTankOne of the bright spots at the network, “Shark Tank” (ABC, 9 p.m.) takes a bigger chunk of the night with not only its regular new episode of pitches, but also a look back at memorable past pitches in the special “Shark Tank: Swimming with the Sharks” (ABC, 8 p.m.), which also includes a list of the most successful businesses it has backed in its first five seasons. Neither are to be confused with “Tanked” (Animal Planet, 10 p.m.), a series about making aquariums or its spinoff “Tanked: Unfiltered” (Animal Planet, 8 p.m.).

The Pennsylvania Ballet celebrates its 50th anniversary with a performance from the Academy of Music in Philadelphia taped last fall on “Great Performances” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings).

D.L. Hughley’s latest comedy special, “D.L. Hughley: Clear” (Showtime, 10 p.m.) was taped at the Regency Theatre in San Francisco.

The writers of the Netflix political hit “House of Cards,” and a few of its actors, talk with Jim Rash on the latest episode of “The Writers’ Room” (Sundance, 9 p.m.).

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Ziggy Marley, Walter Kirn, Monica Mehta and California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom are scheduled guests on “Real Time with Bill Maher” (HBO, 10 p.m.).

Gordon Ramsey tries to turn around a grill in Florida on another two hour “Kitchen Nightmares” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

Sisters find out how their mother died by investigating family pictures on “Dateline” (NBC, 8 p.m.). Later, “20/20″ (ABC, 10 p.m.) looks at unethical real estate agents.

Mircea Monroe and Gary Anthony Williams help out on a new “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” (The CW, 8 p.m.).

Films from down under are featured tonight on Turner Classic Movies, with “Breaker Morant” (8 p.m.), “Gallipoli” (10 p.m.), “Tim” (midnight), “Mad Max” (2 a.m.) and “Roadgames” (4 a.m.).

Malin Akerman is Debbie Harry and Alan Rickman is club owner Hilly Kristal in last year’s feature “CBGB” (Starz, 9 p.m.).

Animated fare tonight includes “How to Train Your Dragon” (FXX, 8 p.m.) and  “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” (ABc Family, 9 p.m.).

NBA playoff action includes Toronto at Brooklyn (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), San Antonio at Dallas (ESPN, 8 p.m.), and Houston at Portland (ESPN, 10:30 p.m.). Stanley Cup playoff games include Rangers at Pittsburgh (NBC Sports, 7 pm.) and Minnesota at Chicago (NBC Sports, 9:30 p.m.).
