outlanderIn the return of the successful series “Outlander” (Starz, 9 p.m.) after a seven month break, Jamie and the Highlanders rescue Claire from Black Jack Randall and Laoghaire tries to win Jamie back.

March is over, madness has made way for acceptance (of bracket inadequacies). But with the Final Four here, why have all the games moved to cable? At any rate, here they are: Michigan State vs. Duke (TBS, TNT, truTV, 6 p.m.) and Wisconsin vs. Kentucky (TBS, TNT, truTV, 8:30 p.m.).

Candace Cameron Bure, queen of made for TV movies, returns with “A Bone to Pick: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.)” about a librarian who tries to investigate her friend’s unexpected death after inheriting her belongings. The adaptation of a Charlaine Harris novel also stars Marilu Henner.

“Jersey Boys” (HBO, 8 p.m.), the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, adapted for film by Clint Eastwood from the Broadway musical, makes its premium cable debut and Eastwood is about the biggest name attached to it (unless you count Christopher Walken as a mob boss).

It’s the first Saturday before Easter in years without “The Ten Commandments.” (It’s on tomorrow night instead). In its place tonight are some business commandments, on a rerun of “Shark Tank” (ABC, 8 p.m.). There is, however, the 1961 “King of Kings” (UP, 11 p.m.).

An Iowa farmer is buried alive in corn on “In an Instant” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

Sally Field co-hosts a night of mysteries on Turner Classic Movies, with “Witness for the Prosecution” (8 p.m.), “Laura” (10:15 p.m.) and “Klute” (midnight) before a couple of vampire movies, 50 years apart: 1983’s “The Hunger” (TCM, 2:15 a.m.) and 1933’s “The Vampire Bat” (TCM, 4 a.m.).

The last exhibitions of spring baseball include Cincinnati at Toronto (MLB, 1 p.m.), San Francisco at Oakland (MLB, 4 p.m.) and Angels at Dodgers (MLB, 9 p.m.).

It’s UCLA at West Virginia (CBS Sports Network, 3 p.m.) in the WNIT women’s college basketball tournament title game.

Hockey has Vancouver at Winnipeg (NHL, 3 p.m.) and Washington at Ottawa (NHL, 7 p.m.).

Michael Keaton returns to host a new “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) with Carly Rae Jepsen as musical guest. at 10 p.m., it’s the highlights of a 1982 episode hosted by Johnny Cash with Elton John as musical guest.
