revenge-season-4-episode-23-series-finaleWe’re in the home stretch of big show finales. And especially now that we know the fate of most existing shows, whether they’ve been canceled or will be continued, there is more finality to some season ends than others.

That’s the case with “Revenge” (ABC, 10 p.m.) which lasted four seasons before its last episode tonight. By now we’ll find if Emily gets her revenge on a show that maybe should have lasted half as long to get to the point.

“The Good Wife” (CBS, 9 p.m.) has its sixth season finale tonight, but it will be back in the fall. As for now, Alicia is at a crossroads in her career.

Also, “Once Upon a Time” (ABC, 8 p.m.) ends its fourth season.

On the finale of “Wolf Hall” (PBS, 9 p.m.), Henry VIII is agitated so Cromwell gets Anne Boleyn to the executioner.

On “Game of Thrones” (HBO, 9 p.m.), isn’t it nice how the different stories are starting to converge? Tyrion Lannister, for example, sees his first dragon tonight.

Don may still be on his unusual road trip tonight on “Mad Men” (AMC, 10 p.m.), in its second to last episode.

Does anybody think the witches on “Penny Dreadful” (Showtime, 10 p.m.) look like the ones who jump out on the nightmares in “Louie”?

Thom kicks the Geico geko around a bit on “Happyish” (Showtime, 9:30 p.m.).

“Nurse Jackie” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) stirs up trouble for developers.

Mother’s Day movies all day on Turner Classic Movies including “Bachelor Mother” (6 a.m.), “So Big” (7:30 a.m.), “Stella Dallas” (9 a.m.), “Imitation of Life” (11 a.m.), “Marty” (1:15 p.m.), “Pocketful of Miracles” (3 p.m.), “Gypsy” (5:30 p.m.), “Roughly Speaking” (8 p.m.) and “Mildred Pierce” (10:15 p.m.).

NBA playoff games today are Cleveland at Chicago (ABC, 3:30 p.m.) and Houston at Clippers (TNT, 8:30 p.m.).

Stanley Cup playoffs have Rangers at Washington (NBC Sports,  p.m.) and Calgary at Anaheim (NBC Sports, 10 p.m.).

Baseball includes Boston at Toronto (MLB, 1 p.m.) and Kansas City at Detroit (ESPN, 8 p.m.).

Golf’s final round of the Players Championship (NBC, 2 p.m.) is played.
