“Louie” (FX, 10:30 p.m.) ends its too-short fifth season by wrapping up the two part episodes about the comedian on the road. A bit of standup is typically part of each episode, but the finale is followed by his sixth stand-up special, “Louis C.K.: Live From the Comedy Store” (FX, 11 p.m.).
The brainiest competition on the Worldwide Leader in Sports is the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee (ESPN 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.), the 88th version of which plays out today with four hours of daytime semifinals and the two hour championship finals tonight.
The new documentary series “3AM” (Showtime, 11 p.m.) is about young New Yorkers after dark and their activities four hours after the show’s start time.
If you’ve been counting down, you’d know tonight is the two hour finale of “500 Questions” (ABC, 8 p.m.).
Things get weirder on “Wayward Pines” (Fox, 9 p.m.), which is just the way they like it.
“Smile” (Lifetime, 10 p.m.) is unfortunately not a series based on the 1975 Michael Ritchie movie, but is instead about cosmetic dentistry.
It follows “Hoarders: Family Secrets” (Lifetime, 9 p.m.), a spinoff of the series that involves intervention.
“Bones” (Fox, 8 p.m.) still has a new episode to show; tonight’s is about a cookie jar collector found dead.
It’s Queen Latifah vs. Marlon Wayans on a new “Lip Sync Battle” (Spike, 10 p.m.).
Josh attends a charity event on “The Comedians” (FX, 10 p.m.).
The competition is at the grill on “Beat Bobby Flay” (Food Network, 10 p.m.).
Even less savory than the original “Naked and Afraid” (Discovery, 8 and 9 p.m.) is the unfortunately-titled spinoff “Naked and Afraid Pop-Up Edition” (Discovery, 10 p.m.).
The theme is time travel on Turner Classic Movies with “Berkeley Square” (8 p.m.), “Time After Time” (9:45 p.m.), “Dr. Who and the Daleks” (12:30 a.m.), “The Time Machine” (2:15 a.m.) and “World Without End” (4:15 a.m.).
Baseball includes Boston at Texas (MLB, 8 p.m.).
Early round play continues in the French Open (ESPN2, 5 a.m.; Tennis Channel, 10 a.m.).
