orphan-blackThe new season of “Orphan Black” (BBC America, 10 p.m.) also comes on a new night. By now it’s impossible to start watching the show about multiple clones and hope to have any idea about what’s going on. One thing for sure is there’s a whole lot of Tatiana Mislay, who adds yet another clone to her previous characters. Further help explaining the story might come with another new addition, a “Talking Dead” like talk show and explication called “After the Black” (BBC America, 11 p.m.).

The second new network reality series in as many days about pushing the limits and going through challenges, “American Grit” (Fox, 9 p.m.) is hosted by wrestling star John Cena and aided by a squad of military vets as it marches contestants through the forests of Washington state. More initial games of the Stanley Cup playoffs have Philadelphia at Washington (NBC Sports, 7 p.m.), Islanders at Florida (CNBC, 8 p.m.), Minnesota at Dallas (NBC Sports, 9:30 p.m.) and San Jose at Los Angeles (CNBC, 10:30 p.m.).
