The nuttiness and fast paced wordplay of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” (Netflix, streaming) is equaling the levels of Robert Carlock and Tina Fey’s previous comedy, “30 Rock.” Unencumbered by commercials, and filled with guest stars and a large amount of good cheer by its star Ellie Kemper, it’s one of the better comedies anywhere.
As season two begins, Kimmy is coming into her own as she advises her roommate Tituss Burgess and tries to navigate her own love, even as Jane Krakowski is off on a return to the reservation for some cross cultural self-discovery. And the landlady played by Carol Kane runs into an old beau, Robert Durst (played deadpan in a sweater by Fred Armisten).
