The Old Dark House-12Halloween means horror all day on Turner Classic Movies with “White Zombie” (8:45 a.m.), “Mad Love” (10 a.m.), “Dementia 13” (11:30 a.m.), “13 Ghosts” (1 p.m.), “The Fearless Vampire Killers” (2:30 p.m.), “House of Wax” (4:30 p.m.) and “Poltergeist” (6 p.m.).

Primetime means Boris Karloff and Gloria Stuart in the 1932 “The Old Dark House” (8 p.m.), pictured above, as well as the 1963 remake of the same title with Tom Poston and Robet Moreley at 2:45 a.m. (Stuart would go on to play the 100-year-old Rose Dawson 65 years later in “Titanic”). Also on the roster, closing out a month of Tuesday night classic horror on the network, are  “The Hunting” (9:30 p.m.), “House on Haunted Hill” (11:30 p.m.), “The Cat and the Canary” (1:15 a.m.) and “The Bat” (4:30 a.m.).

Then there’s “Halloween” (AMC, 7:30 p.m.), jumping to “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later” (AMC, 9:30 p.m.).

It’s splatter all day with “Saw” (IFC, 5 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.), “Saw II” (7:15 a.m. and 6 p.m.), “Saw III” (9:15 a.m.), “Saw IV” (11:45 a.m.) and  “Saw V” (1:45 p.m.). But, mirroring your mall, there is also a rush to “This Christmas” (BET, 6:30 p.m.) and “The Nine Lives of Christmas” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.).

It will be scary for one side or another at the World Series (Fox, 8 p.m.), where it’s Game 6 of Astros at Dodgers, with Houston up 3-2. And it likely won’t be over until after the witching hour (Game 5 ended well after 1 a.m.).

“Major Crimes” (TNT, 9 p.m.) returns for its sixth season with a two part episode about missing boys. It’s the spinoff of “The Closer,” which only lasted seven seasons.

Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd and John Turturro look into their family histories on “Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr.” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings).

That guy with the hat has a standup special, “Judah Friedlander: America is the Greatest Country in the United States” (Netflix, streaming).

The Roots and Erykah Badu’s “You Got Me” is fleshed out on “Tales” (BET, 9 p.m.).

John Wayne Gacy gets a Halloween profile on “The Killer Clown” (Investigation Discovery, 8 p.m.).

Halloween actually happens on very few series tonight (having apparently exhausted holiday themes last week). But there is trick or treating on “This is Us” (NBC, 9 p.m.) and “The Little Couple” (TLC, 9 p.m.).

It’s probably a good day to tune into “American Horror Story: Cult” (FX, 10 p.m.).

Kelly Osbourne and Regis Philbin pop up on “Snoop Dogg Presents the Joker’s Wild” (TBS, 10 p.m.).

Lyle and Erik testify on “Law & Order: True Crime – The Menendez Murders” (NBC, 10 p.m.).

The Tuesday night replay of Ken Burns’ “The Vietnam War” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) moves to January 1968 to July 1968.

Somebody’s shooting at the crew on “Gold Rush” (Discovery, 8 p.m.).

A petty officer is found murdered on both “NCIS” (CBS, 8 p.m.) and “NCIS: New Orleans” (CBS, 10 p.m.).

The host of “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” (A&E, 10 p.m.), trades notes with two childhood friends who were also raised in the organization.

Gypsy’s father shows up on “The Flash” (The CW, 8 p.m.).

On “The Middle” (ABC, 8 p.m.), Sue is asked to plan her parents’ 25th wedding anniversary.

“The Voice” (NBC, 8 p.m.) reviews the season so far.

We meet Jessica’s father for the first time on “Fresh Off the Boat” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).

“Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations” (Travel, 9 p.m.) goes to Guatemala and, at 9:30, Morocco.

Junior’s future is threatened at school on “Blackish” (ABC, 9 p.m.).

“Bull” (CBS, 9 p.m.) helps an old flame sue a factory for contaminating the water.

Breaking time has its consequences on “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” (The CW, 9 p.m.).

“The Mayor” (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) has to deal with a bus drivers’ union strike.

Bridesmaids feud on “Gucci Mane and Keshia Ka’oir: The Mane Event” (BET, 10 p.m.).

“Ink Master: Angels” (Spike, 10 p.m.) go to Atlanta.

A single mom needs help with her son’s medical bills on “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” (ABC, 10 p.m.).
