It’s a night for second season starts for a number of popular streaming series, none so welcome as the French mystery thriller and sleeper hit “Lupin” (Netflix, streaming), with Omar Sy’s Assane pursued by Hubert and his henchmen. 

A second season also comes for the homegrown mystery series “Home Before Dark” (Apple TV+, streaming, the series based on a real-life kid journalist. Brooklynn Prince stars. 

After a long break after season one, which premiered on the Pop network in February 2019, “Flack” (Amazon Prime, streaming) is back for its second season, finally, with Anna Paquin reviving her role as a high-powered American PR agent in London. Lysia Wilson, Genevieve Anderson, Daniel Dae Kim and Rufus Jones also star. 

Pride Month is a good time for the return of the high school series “Love, Victor” (Hulu, streaming) about Michael Cimino’s starring character dealing with his sexuality at high school. 

Last week’s splendid episode of “Mythic Quest” (Apple+, streaming) delving into the early days of C. W. Longbottom wasn’t a one-off after all. Its story continues today in the present, as F. Murray Abramson gets a full episode reuniting with his onetime rival, who has grown up to be William Hurt. Best of all, Shelley Hennig’s character also returns. 

In addition to exploiting its Marvel holdings, Disney looks back at its own animation past and recuts scenes to match themes meant to relax and put to new music in the new season of “Zenimation” (Disney+, streaming).
