It’s my favorite summer European tour and sporting event: The Tour de France (NBC Sports, 6:30 p.m.). Stage one  begins in Brest, in northwestern France and ends in Landerneau as riders compete to claim the first yellow jersey of the tour.

There’s a chance to catch repeated of a couple of shows that premiered this week, “When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren” (ABC, 9 p.m.) and the “Capital One College Bowl” (NBC, 8 p.m.).

It’s mostly sports tonight on broadcast TV with the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials (NBC, 9 p.m.), and in motor sports, the Camping World SRX Series (CBS, 8 p.m.) and baseball with Yankees at Red Sox (Fox, 7 p.m.).

The crime drama “The Little Things” (HBO, 8 p.m.) with Denzel Washington, Jared Leto, Rami Malek and Natalie Morales, makes its premium cable debut.

In the made more TV romance “Sand Dollar Cove” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.), a real estate development project manager tries to acquire beachfront property only to run into a deed holder who becomes a romantic interest. Aly Michalka and Chad Michael Murray star.
