The NBA Finals begin tonight with Milwaukee at Phoenix (ABC, 9 p.m.) in Game 1. It also means the pregame programming of a prime time “Jimmy Kimmel Live: NBA Finals Game Night” (ABC, 8 p.m.) and an “NBA Countdown” (ABC, 8:30 p.m.). And the two minute openings for the game will be directed by and star  inveterate NBA fan Spike Lee. 

One of last year’s funniest sketch shows, “I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson” (Netflix, streaming) returns for a second season.

The three part series “The Latino Experience” (PBS, 9 p.m.) features the first five of 13 short film by an array of filmmakers, highlighting diversity in the Latino community.

SharkFest 2021 continues with “When Shark Attack: Deep Dives” (National Geographic, 8 p.m.), “When Sharks Attack” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) and  “Orca vs. Great White” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.), 

Emilia Fox and David Wilson host the new true crime series “In the Footsteps of Killers” (Britbox, streaming), trying to solve some UK murders. 

The new series “An Animal Saved My Life” (A&E, 9 p.m.) tells tales of critter heroism.
