“Schmigadoon!” (Apple TV+, streaming) is a fun thing — a musical comedy series about a modern couple who stumble into a strange, magical town that seems to be stuck in a 1950s Hollywood musical. Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key play the couple; the townspeople include Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Fred Armisen, Jane Krakowski and Martin Short as well as a chorus that sings and dances at the drop of a hat. The songs are pretty clever too for a show that will keep you smiling.
