During the day it’s Shakespeare adaptations with the 1937 “Romeo and Juliet” (6 a.m.), “All Night Long” (8:15 a.m.) a version of “Othello” set in the jazz world; “Playmates” (10 a.m.), about a Shakespearean actor; “Kiss Me Kate” (11:45 a.m.), “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (1:45 p.m.), which in part inspired “Smiles of a Summer Night” (4:15 p.m.) and “Forbidden Planet” (6:15 p.m.), based on “The Tempest.”

Baseball includes Toronto at Tampa Bay (ESPN, 7 p.m.) and San Francisco at San Diego (Fox Sports 1, 10 p.m.).
