Classic TV is recalled on the specials “Batman to Wonder Woman: TV’s Favorite Superheroes” (Reelz, 9 p.m.) and “Star Trek to Twilight Zone: TV’s Favorite Sci-Fi” (Reelz, 9 p.m.).

“The Dead Files” (Travel, 10 p.m.), returns for its 14th season with a visit to California.

The two week Clint Eastwood showcase on Turner Classic Movies concludes with “Bird” (8 p.m.) and “Unforgiven” (11:15 p.m.). The midnight noir that follows is both two hours late and is from Argentina — the 1952 “La Bestia Debe Morir” (2 a.m.). 

Baseball playoffs have Dodgers at Atlanta (TBS, 5 p.m.) in Game 6 of the NLCS, determining who will play Houston in the World Series. Braves lead the series 3-2.

College football begins at noon with games that include Northwestern at Michigan (Fox), Illinois at Penn State (ABC), Oklahoma at Kansas (ESPN), Cincinnati at Navy (ESPN2), Kansas State at Texas Tech (Fox Sports 1), Northern Illinois at Central Michigan (ESPNU) and Wake Forest at Army (CBS Sports). 

Games at 3:30 p.m. include Oregon at UCLA (ABC), LSU at Mississippi (CBS), Oklahoma State at Iowa State (Fox), Clemson at Pittsburgh (ESPN), Maryland at Minnesota (ESPN2), BYU at Washington State (Fox Sports 1) and Western Michigan at Toledo (CBS Sports).

A new “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings) features Sarah Jarosz and Billy Strings. 

Former cast member Jason Sudeikis returns to host “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) for the first time, based on the Emmy success of his “Ted Lasso.” Brandi Carlile is musical guest.
