The newly designated Sexiest Man Alive Paul Rudd teams up with Will Ferrell in the new dark comedy “The Shrink Next Door” (Apple TV+, streaming), based on the podcast about the controlling psychiatrist and his patient. Kathryn Hahn and Casey Wilson also star in the eight-episode series, three of which drop today.

“Red Notice” (Netflix, streaming), the action comedy with marquee names Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, about an art thief sought by Interpol, makes its debut. 

The Bruce Willis action film “Apex” (AMC+, streaming), another human hunting story, is available online the same day it opens in theaters. Neal McDonough, Corey Large and Lochlyn Munro also star. 

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg allowed cameras to follow his 2020 presidential race. The resulting documentary comes now as “Mayor Pete” (Amazon Prime, streaming) is current U.S. Secretary of Transportation.

The four-part documentary series “Always Jane” (Amazon Prime, streaming) follows the life of transgender teen Jane Noury in rural New Jersey.

An annual competition among table setters is the subject of another documentary, “Set!” (Discovery+, streaming). 

“Kevin Garnett: Anything is Possible” (Showtime, 8 p.m.) is a documentary about the former NBA star. 

The animated “Snoopy in Space” (Apple TV+, streaming), returns for a second season.
