Kimberly-Sue Murray plays a woman who enters a lumberjack competition to save her family’s business; but she’s up against a doctor (Stephen Huszar) in “Christmas in the Rockies” (UPtv, 7 p.m.).

But there’s also a comedy, “Hot Mess Holiday” (Comedy Central, 7 p.m.) about a dumped woman who goes on a bender and finds an expensive diamond that puts her in danger. Surinda Jindal, Melanie Chandra, Lal Penn, Tituss Burgess, Chris Parnell and Lilly Singh star. 

Less spirit is found in the made-for-TV thriller “Dangerous Snow Day” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.) about an au pair who fears her wealthy employer. 

Christmas specials tonight include “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” (Cbs, 8 p.m.), “Frosty the Snowman” (CBS, 9 p.m.) and “Frosty Returns” (CBS, 9:30 p.m.). “The Waltons’ Homecoming” (CW, 8 p.m.) gets a replay as well. 

As her second “West Side Story” opens in theaters, the life of Rita Moreno is recounted in the “American Masters” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings) from earlier this year. 

It’s moving day for pit vipers on “The Zoo: Bronx Tales” (Animal Planet, 8 p.m.). Howie the wallaby is relocating to Arizona on “The Zoo” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.).

“Family or Fiance” (OWN, 10 p.m.) has a couple facing backlash from the bride’s family. 

The reunion episodes continue on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” (OWN, 9 p.m.). 

Turner Classic Movies has two movies chosen by noir host Eddie Mueller — “Lady on a Train” (8 p.m.) and “Park Row” (10 p.m.). Of course, he also gets to pick the regular 12 o’clock noir, “Cruel Gun Story” (midnight). It’s followed by a couple of films starring Timothy Bottoms, “The Paper Chase” (2 a.m.) and “Operation Daybreak” (4 a.m.). 

The Heisman Trophy Presentation (ESPN, 8 p.m.) is presented after some games that include Army vs. Navy (CBS, 3 p.m.). 

NBA action includes Golden State at Philadelphia (ABC, 8:30 p.m.).

Hockey includes Chicago at Toronto (NHL, 7 p.m.).
