There’s no question what movie to catch this weekend. Joel Coen adapts the Bard’s “The Tragedy of Macbeth” (Apple TV+, streaming) with Denzel Washington in the title role and Frances McDormand as his scheming wife

A younger audience might be more interested in “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania” (Amazon Prime, streaming), the fourth and final installment in the animated series, with Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Jim Gaffigan, Steve Buscemi, Fran Drescher, Katheryn Hahn and David Spade among those lending their voices.

A darker, more eccentric stop-motion animated anthology series is found in “The House” (Netflix, streaming), which offers up scares in a mysterious home, from an international cast of animators.

Having more satisfyingly wrapped the “Dexter” story recently, Showtime moves to more satisfyingly wrap another of its dramas — two years after it went off the air. “Ray Donovan: The Movie” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) brings back Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, Eddie Marsan and the rest of the original cast.

“Archive 81” (Netflix, streaming) is a new series about an archivist who has to dissect tapes from a deadly fire that uncovers a demonic cult. Mamoudou Athie and Dina Shihabi star.

Chuck D narrates the documentary “Use of Force: The Policing of Black America” (Peacock, streaming) that looks into the history of police killings.

The sci-fi series “The Expanse” (Amazon Prime, streaming) debuts its sixth and final season.
