The latest procedural crime comedy “Murderville” (Netflix, streaming) stars Will Arnett as a detective who is joined each episode by partnering guest star who doesn’t quite know what’s going on, hasn’t been given a script and is encouraged to improvise amid the absurdist surroundings. It starts tonight with Conan O’Brien trying not to crack up. Other participants will include Annie Murphy, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Marshawn Lynch and Sharon Stone. It’s all based on a UK format, “Murder in Succesville.”
The Winter Olympics (NBC, 8 p.m.) invades prime time for the first time, even before Friday’s opening ceremony. It includes a variety of figure skating events. Elsewhere, there is mixed doubles curling of Canada vs. Switzerland (USA, 7:35 p.m.).
The reviled “Sex and the City” reboot “And Just Like That” (HBO Max, streaming) has its season finale, when all three remaining friends may also die on their Peletons.
The singer and “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star K. Michelle hosts a new series “My Killer Body with K. Michelle” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), featuring interviews with people, like her, who have come to regret their extreme cosmetic surgeries.
“Soul of a Nation” (ABC, 8 and 9 p.m.) hits the ground running for Black History Month, presenting two episodes, the first about black actresses in Hollywood, and then the man convicted of Malcolm X’s assassination at 9 p.m.).
Not willing to wait until Super Bowl Sunday, the special “Puppy Bowl Presents: The Winter Games” (Discovery+, streaming) pits five dogs against each other. Kym Whitley hosts.
