Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson actually gets to respond to questions today in her Supreme Court Nomination Hearing (CNN, C-SPAN, MSNBC, 9 a.m.) before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Broadcast networks may also run the hearing, but C-SPAN is the most reliable of the bunch.

“This is Us” (NBC, 9 p.m.) may finally deal with the reasons Kate and Toby split. 

The recent discovery of Sir Ernest Shackelton’s ship, lost in a 1914 Anarctic expedition, is the subject of a special 90-minute episode of “History’s Greatest Mysteries” (History, 10 p.m.).
