His foes include a cult leader played by Ethan Hawke and Midnight Man (Gaspard Ulliel in his final role; he died in January at age 37).

“White Water Summer” (Discovery+, streaming) is a new series that follows the lives of white water raft guides of Maurine, Ore. 

“Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.) seems to be particularly good this season. But maybe it’s just in comparison to “Beyond the Edge” (CBS, 9 p.m.).
