Wednesday TV: Real Housewives of Dubai

The franchise goes international with the premiere of “The Real Housewives of Dubai” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) from the UAE. Which probably means even more opulent lifestyles than, say, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (Bravo, 8 p.m.).

A new nature series explores creatures in the Southern Hemisphere with “Into the Wild New Zealand” (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.).

The Scripps National Spelling Bee Semifinals (Bounce, ION, 8 p.m.) from National Harbor, Maryland, are presented on new networks, after a stretch on ESPN.

“South Park: The Streaming Wars” (Paramount+, streaming) is the latest streaming special from the long-running cartoon.

Don’t get it mixed up with “Star Wars,” which presents a new episode of its live-action spin-off “Obi-Wan Kenobi” (Disney+, streaming).

The new “Generation Drag” (Discovery+, streaming) follows teens taking part in a big drag performance in Denver. Elsewhere, “Workhouse Queen” (Starz, 8 p.m.), a documentary about a telemarketer by day who becomes a drag queen at night, influenced by RuPaul’s TV show, makes its premium cable debut.

An introduction to a superhero who gets her own series June 8 is given by the special “A Fan’s Guide to Ms. Marvel” (Disney+, streaming).
