One of the great comedies of today, the vampire parody “What We Do in the Shadows” (FX, 10 p.m.), starts its fourth season with a pair of episodes, the first one about a strange new creature appearing in the mansion. 

Hearings resume for the House Select Committee Investigating the Jan. 6 Insurrection (CNN, MSNBC, CSPAN, PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, 1 p.m.) focusing on the the extremist groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers who took part, and apparently left quite a filmed trail of their planning. MSNBC does a recap of the day at 8.

On the new four part documentary series  “Edge of the Earth” (HBO, 9 p.m.), four groups of extreme athletes  take a ski and snowboard expedition Alaska’s Glacier National Park.

Writer Michael Pollan looks into the use of psychedelic drugs and macrodosing on the new documentary series “How to Change Your Mind” (Netflix, streaming). 

“My Daughter’s Killer” (Netflix, streaming) is a documentary feature on the death of a 14-year-old French girl in Germany in 1982.

“The Bob’s Burgers Movie” (HBO Max, Hulu, streaming) makes its TV premiere after being first released in theaters in May.
