“Mastermind of a Murder” (Oxygen, 7 p.m.) begins its second season.

Nick Offerman traces his family roots to the Revolutionary War on “Who Do You Think You Are?” (NBC, 7 p.m.).

On the made-for-TV thriller “Lies My Sister Told Me” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), an evil twin goes off the deep end after the anniversary of their father’s death and assumes her sister’s role as a romance novelist. 

In the made-for-TV romance “Love, Fashion, Retreat” (UPtv, 7 p.m.), a designer returns home for inspiration and meets a writer. Christina Rosato and Victor Zinck Jr. star. 

SharkFest must be starting to wind down, but here’s a new special chronicling past collisions in “Jaws vs. Boats” (National Geographic, 8 p.m.). Elsewhere is “Shark Superpower” (Disney XD, 9 p.m.). 

I’m counting on “The Story of Songs” (Reels, 8 p.m.) to find the nuances in the works of Motley Crue — followed by songbook of Poison at 10. 

“Patagonia: Life on the Edge of the World” (CNN, 9 p.m.) looks at Chile’s sheltered fjords. 

A fourth season finale comes for the true crime mob documentary series “Very Scary People” (HLN, 9 p.m.). 

“Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks Shakedown” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) returns for its ninth season. 

Will and Geordie look into the mysterious death of a cleaning brand owner on “Grantchester” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings). 

“Animal Kingdom” (TNT, 9 p.m.) flashes back to 1992 and the origins of Pope’s nickname. 

The single-named R&B singer performs on the special “HelloBeautiful Interludes Live Featuring Ashanti” (TV One, 9 p.m.).

On “Bridge and Tunnel” (Epix, 10 p.m.), Stacey gets a big audition for a broadway show. 

Lifestyles of the long dead wealthy are explored on the new series “History’s Crazy Rich Ancients” (History, 10 p.m.). A lot of good all that wealth did for them. 

“COBRA” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) deals with further disaster after the cyberattack. 

They’ve still got to name a second head of household on “Big Brother” (CBS, 8 p.m.), who in turn will name two nominees for eviction — an action that hasn’t quite happened yet this season. 

Other game shows tonight include “The Final Straw” (ABC, 9 p.m.) and “The $100,000 Pyramid” (ABC, 10 p.m.). 

The wrestler named Goldberg is profiled on “Biography: WWE Legends” (A&E, 8 p.m.). Then the 20-year-rivalry of Undertaker and Kane is discussed on “WWE Rivals” (A&E, 10 p.m.). 

I’d feel better if “Married to Medicine” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) dealt more vaccination and less vindictiveness. 

“United Shades of America” (CNN, 10 p.m.) talks with the Black population in the Appalachians. 

The three remaining teams on “The Great Food Truck Race” (Food, 9 p.m.) get closer to the finish line as they meet in Long Beach, Calif. 

Chefs on “Beachside Brawl” (Food, 10 p.m.) are charged with making sea-worthy dishes. 

The recent pictures of the far-off galaxies are explained in the special “James Webb Telescope: Secrets of the Universe Revealed” (Science, 8 p.m.). It’s followed by those rich guys who launch themselves to space but won’t stay there in “Space Titans: Musk, Bezos, Branson” (Science, 9 p.m.). 

Little Island in New York is a subject on “How Did They Build That?” (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.). 

Alas, it’s “Alien Abduction: Betty and Barney Hill” (Travel, 8 p.m.) and not, say, Benny (still, go ahead and play “Yakety Sax” through the whole show, and maybe through the show that follows, “Alaskan Killer Bigfoot” (Travel, 10 p.m.), as well. 

The crypto boom only helps to make “The Anarchists” (HBO, 10 p.m.) even more annoying. 

“Supreme Team” (Showtime, 10 p.m.) is affected by the murder of a NYPD officer.

Freddy makes a deadly confession on “We Hunt Together” (Showtime, 8 p.m.). 

ON “Flatbush Misdemenors” (Showtime, 11 p.m.), Dan connects with Sydney. 

Actress Susan Fleming, who was also the wife of Harpo Marx, is featured on a Turner Classic Movies double feature tonight, in “Million Dollar Legs” (8 p.m.) and “Gold Diggers of 1937” (9:15 p.m.). Silent movies at 12 o’clock have “Desert Nights” (midnight) and “Something New” (1 a.m.). They are followed by two from Ingmar Bergman, “Sommer with Monika” (2:30 a.m.) and “Smiles of a Summer Night” (4:15 a.m.). 

Baseball includes Boston at Yankees (MLB, 1:30 p.m.). And it’s the day of the MLB Draft (ESPN, MLB, 7 p.m.). 6 p.m.). 

WNBA has Las Vegas at at Connecticut (ABC, 1 p.m.) and Indiana at Seattle (CBS Sports, 

The NBA Summer League wraps up with Portland vs. New York (ESPN, 3 p.m.) in the championship.
