The historical renovation series “In With the Old” (Magnolia, 8 p.m.) returns for a second season. 

The “Expedition with Steve Backshall” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) looks for previously undiscovered chimpanzees in a Gabon national park. 

A fight over a Pop-Tart becomes one of the “Neighborhood Wars” (A&E, 10 p.m.). 

“So You Think You Can Dance” (Fox, 9 p.m.) has the top six dancers perform. 

David Attenborough scours the desert for life on “The Green Planet” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings). 

“MasterChef” (Fox, 8 p.m.) assigns specific desserts to be baked, as chosen by a fellow chef. 

Diana apologizes for ruining Garcelle’s birthday party on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (Bravo, 8 p.m.). 

“The Real Housewives of Dubai” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) squabble at a desert party.

Paul Scheer, Wanda Sykes and Tiffany Haddish are featured in a couple episodes of “Crank Yankees” (Comedy Central, 8 and 8:30 p.m.). 

“Guy’s Grocery Games” (Food, 9 p.m.) has a grilled meat competition. 

A secret society sends out an invitation on “Grown-ish” (Freeform, 10 p.m.). 

On “Everything’s Trash” (Freeform, 10:30 p.m.), Phoebe is asked to be a guest speaker. 

Lifters and loaders are featured on “More Power” (History, 10 p.m.). 

“Animals Decoded” (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.) looks into jungle creatures. 

Turner Classic Movies’ Wednesday night series of black independent films concludes with “Medicine for Melancholy” (8 p.m.), “Hunger” (9:45 p.m.), “One False Move” (11:30 p.m.), “Emma Mae” (1:30 a.m.), “Daughters of the Dust” (3:15 a.m.) and “Illusions” (5:15 a.m.).

After some more Dana Andrews films in the morning, with “The Loved One” (6 a.m.), “The Satan Bug” (8:15 a.m.), “The Frozen Dead” (10:15 a.m.) and “The Devil’s Brigade” (noon), TCM has a Frank Sinatra triple feature with “The Kissing Bandit” (2:15 p.m.), “Higher and Higher” (4:15 p.m.) and “The Tender Trap” (6 p.m.).
