There were birthdays to note of such notables as Chuck Brown, Debbi Peterson, Dale Hawkins and John Lee Hooker.
Missed Joe Strummer’s birthday by a day, so included him into the party and his “Burnin’ Streets” let to set of burning songs, finally leading to highlights from the WattStax concert held 50 years ago this week at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
