As The U.S. Open (ESPN, 11 a.m.; ESPN2, 7 p.m.) reaches the Round of 16, a new documentary looks at one of tennis world’s most colorful competitors, John McEnroe. “McEnroe” (Showtime, 7 p.m.) features the subject himself, hitting the town over one night in New York City as he recalls his career. 

“Rick and Morty” (Cartoon Network, 11 p.m.) returns for a sixth season. 

Anne returns to England from France and wows Henry VIII on “The Boleyns: A Scandalous Family” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings).

On “Chesapeake Shores” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) Mick’s pill addiction starts to affect his life.
